We hosted a leadership team this weekend that uses the word “extreme” as part of their identity. I’ve decided the word aptly describes them. Their first meeting lasted for twelve hours. Seriously. A twelve-hour meeting is hard core. But. They’re determined to win. So. They developed their plans for a year of wins with the sole purpose to win people around the world for Christ.
When you get down to it, God is all about the win. And. God does not fail.
“Be strong and courageous, and do the work. Don’t be afraid or discouraged, for the LORD God, my God, is with you. He will not fail you or forsake you. He will see to it that all the work related to the Temple of the LORD is finished correctly (I Chronicles 28:20, NLT).
God has purposeful work for you and I to do . . . to make a difference . . . to finish strong . . . to win.
You have been promised:
God is with you.
God will not fail you.
God will not leave you.
God will see to it that your purpose in this world will be finished.
Do the work.
Don’t be afraid.
Don’t be discouraged.
To know there’s a win in our future when we live with God’s purpose changes the way we face obstacles and battles. There’s no reason to have fear or to be discouraged when we do it all with God.
We will not lose, no matter how it looks from the outside-in. God has a plan of hope and a future, promising He will be by our side, walking us through the darkest valley to the highest mountain, providing a way when there seems to be no way, protecting, providing, and giving us strength and ability beyond ourselves. It’s an extreme plan that ends in the ultimate win.
Put it on the life list: Go for the win!
Learning to Kickstart the day going for the win.
