Sometimes it seems that no matter what we do–things go wrong–and nothing seems to work. It can be frustrating and overwhelming. I used to entitle these kind of days as a NO-GOOD DAY with the thought we would start over when morning came; however, how we face the day reveals how we live our life. So.
It comes down to reframing the day, taking time to be aware of the Presence, believing that despite how it all seems, God is present and at work.
Moses said it: Be strong and have strength of heart.
Do not be afraid or shake with fear because of them.
For the Lord your God is the One Who goes with you. He will be faithful to you. He will not leave you alone (Deuteronomy 31:6, NLV).
Think about it. GOD IS WITH YOU. Think about it again, GOD IS WITH YOU!!!
When we face the day with awareness of the Presence, believing God is faithful to remain, we’re able to push through it all, knowing there’s more to the day than what is seen in the moment. Gratitude for the Presence changes how we see life, making us stronger, empowering us to face it all, including the incomprehensibly hard moments. But. There are times gratitude is difficult, especially in the hard times. It’s as much of discipline as a choice and a lifestyle. So. Develop the daily discipline of thanking God for being present.
- Begin and end the day by saying thank-you for the Presence being right beside you, never leaving you, never failing you.
