I love words. I will admit one of my favorite words makes me happy when someone poses a question with it: “Coffee?” I answer back with two words: “Of course!”
Actually, the word, “coffee,” is about as common as the word, “rain,” for those of us who live in the Pacific Northwest.
There’s power in words. But. Nothing compares with the message of God’s words. Whenever someone needs healing, I direct them to see professionals and to immerse themselves in God’s Word.
The divine words have been my lifeline since I could read. The Psalmist made it clear that both God’s presence and promises provide protection.
He will cover you with his feathers.
He will shelter you with his wings.
His faithful promises are your armor and protection. (Psalm 91:4, NLT)
The Word of God is armor and protection for the mind, body, and soul. It’s a good day when it begins with coffee and God’s word. Make it a good day!
