Change The World Wherever You Are

Monday is a day to live, a day to make a difference, a day to impact others, a day to make a change.     Christ explained it as being salt and light:

“You are the salt of the earth. But what good is salt if it has lost its flavor? Can you make it salty again? It will be thrown out and trampled underfoot as worthless. You are the light of the world—like a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden” (Matthew 5:13-14, NLT)

Christ made it clear to take on the identity of salt and light.

Being the salt and light of the world is a powerful and simple way to live.  Those who are salt and light intentionally approach individuals with a positive attitude and a spirit of gratefulness, looking for a way to bless someone with an act of kindness.

For myself, I’ve been changed by the salt and light of this world. Even the atmosphere changes when salt flavors the world and light breaks through the darkness. And, I’m grateful for the salt and the light that I’ve encountered.  It’s made me want to impact the world as salt and light more than ever.

Change the world wherever you are.  Be salt and light today.
