Today I’m grateful for Billy Graham who continues to impact the world at age 95. Nothing has deterred him from bringing the message of Hope to the world. And, because of his intentional effort in the past week, there’s been a shift in the lives of people in our community and across America as they chose to cross the line of hopelessness to hope, guilt to grace, and doubt to faith after listening to his message.
Ultimately his influence comes from the favor of God; however, his choice to complete his daily God-given assignment has been crucial to it all. There’s much to learn from Billy Graham and those like him, who wisely invests each day for God.
That said, it ultimately, comes down to the choice to either succumb to daily circumstances or to rise above them, to be focused on impossibilities or possibilities, and to refuse or choose to believe God.
His viewpoint of conquering life’s obstacles to impact the world for God is best explained in one sentence written in his autobiography:
I’ve read the last page of the Bible, it’s all going to turn out all right.–Billy Graham
Today: I’m thankful for one 95-year-old man, Billy Graham, who has once again brought the message of hope to our world.
